In January 2022, Optomech GmbH joined the SPECTARIS Photonics Association.
SPECTARIS is the German industrial association for optics, photonics, analysis and medical technology based in Berlin. The association organizes seminars on current topics, enables the exchange between potential cooperation and research partners, helps the entire sector to help shape research, industry and labor market policy.
The history of the association is closely linked to the establishment of the German Society for Mechanics and Optics in 1881. SPECTARIS currently has more than 400 highly innovative members such as Carl Zeiss, Sartorius and Otto Bock. Around 100 German companies belong to the Photonics Association.
