Last week, we took part in a business initiation trip to Switzerland together with 20 other German companies. The trip was organized by the Swissmem association.
It was a full program, where 12 companies and institutes were visited within 3 days, with very interesting presentations from different areas.
We were particularly impressed by the company MPS Microsystems, which is able to manufacture and assemble a heart pump with an accuracy of 5 µm and Ra < 0.2 and the company Optotune with its “Focus tunables lenses” with a liquid lens that can change its shape & focus.
