Project: Compact digital fluorescence microscope

Development of an optomechanical solution concept for the integration of all optical or electronic components into a maximally compact multi-channel digital fluorescence microscope (target size: HxWxL ≅ 80 x 100 x 150 mm). With the help of the fluorescence microscope, it should be possible to detect 18 different antigens simultaneously fully automatically with the help of immunofluorescence and to be able to carry out a dead-alive differentiation of cells.

The innovation of the solution concept was primarily the requirement of the automatic analysis process without moving parts and the available installation space, so that conventional methods for integrating several color channels could not be used.
