Here is our look back at the year 2023.
On 24th January 2023, Optomech took part in the Photonics Hub Symposium – “Optomechanics” in Mainz with the presentation “Comparison of development concepts depending on optical design and series size”.
We look back with pleasure on the World of Photonics trade fair 2023 from 25-30 June in Munich, where we were able to meet new interested parties.
On 5th and 6th September, Optomech presented itself with a small exhibition at the Sectronet Collaboration Conference in Erfurt.
The SWISSMEM Delegation Trip 2023 from 6th to 8th NOVEMBER 2023 was a very interesting business initiation trip to innovative companies and research institutions in the Swiss photonics industry. We hope to be able to present the Swiss delegation trip in Göttingen next year.
At the end of the year on 22th November, Optomech took part in the Photonics Hub Symposium “Plastic optics for high-tech applications” with the presentation: “Special features in the design of frames for plastic lenses under the harsh temperature conditions of the automotive industry from -40° to +105°”.
In the 21st year of the competition, the 2023 Regional Business Innovation Award was presented jointly by the city and district of Göttingen for the first time. The award ceremony took place on Thursday, 21th November 2023 at the Deutsches Theater in Göttingen. Optomech GmbH took part in this competition with the Ergonomic Neck Relief Glasses, but unfortunately did not win a prize, but we are still working on our project until it is ready for series production.
In 2023, Optomech GmbH could achieve a turnover of up to 2 million, which is almost 60 % more than in the previous year. Our online shop is also being used more and more. We sell our Compact Stages already and we are in the process of expanding the product range.
